Feels Good to be Back

Ive neglected by blog, but I'm back now. Ive been so busy! but that's no excuse. So much has been going on. New responsibilities. Im planning to relocate soon, so ive been taking care of moving business, as well as school. Its crazy all of this is trarting to happen. Everything i said i would do, when i was a kid, im actually putting actions to my words now, and its so exciting, because im living my dream! i could care less about cliche sayings right now, because im so happy with my life.

Yesterday, i had the privilege of being in front of the camera, rather than being behind it. Young Fly Richy was the photographer, and his work is amazing, not to mention he's a wonderful friend of mine who's about to blow up even bigger than he already is. Beautiful Friends

Today at the Cooper Young Festival, i met up with some really beautiful friends of mine. We had a pretty nice time together. I cant wait to see them again. They'll probably kill me for putting these pictures up, but i think they're wonderful.

 My Dear Reagan, (My Twin/ Amazing Friend) whom ive missed so very much. Shes the love of my life! Im so happy i got to see her beautiful face today. Love her.

Cooper- Young Festival

Today was the annual Cooper-Young Festival. Ive been waiting on this since last year! Cooper-Young fest is an event that takes place in Midtown Memphis. Tons of vendors come and showcase what they have to offer, and sell. They also have live local bands come and place a few sets. I love this festival, because you meet so many beautiful people, and get to hang with them all day! I cant wait until next year's festival.

 

I wanted to spend all of my money at this small thrift that these ladies brought to Cooper - Young.

Campus Raw's Part 2

 These two were the first to let me take their picture! It was super crowded, and it was like a million people in passing, and they were kind enough to stop and help me out, so i definitely commend them on being totally awesome. Not to mention their king sense of raw fashion. I love catching people in their candid moments. They're the absolute best.

Okay, so about these two guys. I spotted this gnarly shirt this guy was wearing from like a mile away. They probably thought i was crazy, because of how much i was staring, but they were super cool. Loved that they were both wearing converse. Probably unintended, but definitely cute. I still cant get over this amazing shirt. But these two were definitely a win.

As i was leaving the campus, i spotted these two people, sporadically, and they were kind enough to let me take a few shots of them. They were really sweet, and respectful. I love beautiful people. Hope to see them more.

Mode University Part 2

 Today on the campus, i saw and met a ton of beautiful people. This is a picture of the few that i met. I cant wait to go back a witness the beautiful raw fashion on this campus. These people have a king sense of fashion, i saw them gathered around a table in front of the University Center, and i rushed over quick, because a had to take a shot of them. Thankfully, these beautiful people didn't think i was a creeper.

Today i took the liberty of visiting the University of Memphis campus. I was basically going around, looking for people with raw style and a beautiful candid fashion sense. I got lucky finding people, i'm still searching! But everyone here is pretty friendly about me taking pictures of them, i mean, who wouldn't want to be in a fashion blog, yeah? 

New Beginnings

I haven't  Posted in a while, and since fall is here, i guess this is a new start, eh? So many things have happened in the past few months, so many good, not that much bad, but im definitely excited about whats going down in my future.

Pro Fringe

Im all aboout the fringe when it comes to fashion. It makes me feel like I'm Tina Turner, or something. I cant wait to start making my clothes like i want, and use all of the fringe i want. Hopefully it wont go out of style. Honestly i dont think it will, and i realy dont care. Its the cutest addition to any form of clothing, to me. So, im Pro fringe all day long.

America/Self-Made

Urban Outfitters tank for men, and self made shorts. They were once jeans that were too big for me, that i ended up cutting and bleaching, and stripping the heck out of them, until i got the look i wanted. I love ripping and cutting clothes. My mom says "if i keep cutting and ripping my clothes, then i wont have any left for the winter" .. she's completely right, so that means i should go shopping more often, yeah?..

Maxi Days

Today was definitely a maxi day for me, even though my skirt needs a new zipper, but its okay. My shirt came from American Apparel, which is my favorite store, and i should be working back there, soon. I put this outfit together because i was totally bored, and i wanted to showcase what im capable of, when it comes to fashion, and styling. I also almost broke my camera trying to take these pictures, but they turned out great, yeah? don't you think?

We meet again.

I've just recently revived my personal fashion blog. I assume you know pretty much nothing about me, but not to worry, I'm here to help. Im jess. I'm a fashion photographer, as well as a visual/ performing artist. I love my family,and my dog. i adore animals, anndd I'm left handed. I love shopping, unfortunately. Im not addicted, i just shop on numerous occasions. I love meeting new people. I cant wait until i start traveling, which will be in the year 2012, but im planning to start on my brthday, which is in November. But until then, ill be here, everyday, blogging until i turn blue in the face.
