Gulf Shores/ Summer 2012

So, this summer was the very first time I've gone to the beach, and it was everything I could ever dream of. I had a blast! normally, whenever I go out of town, I pack as if I'm staying there for the rest of my life, and I did! But I found my fashion choices for this trip very raw and spontaneous. I found myself wearing spandex shorts with long tanks, or long maxi dresses (ps, I hardly ever wear maxi dresses) high waisted short skirts, etc. I took risks with my fashion choices, because I felt as though I had a right to be a little different being that I wasn't in my home city. I think it worked out pretty well. I get to go back in late September, so I'm super excited! I'll be sure to take lots of pictures, and tell you guys all about it!

Summer daze.

Wearing pants two sizes too big, is all the rave in Memphis. Not really, but who cares.

Perfect Platform Sandal

So before I left for Huntsville, I shopped a little bit at Urban Outfitters. I found the most perfect pair of sandals ever. They were only $20 bucks! I feel like a solid disco queen when I wear them. They're my favorite.

New Scarf.

So, I found this awesome scarf randomly in my house, and I'm pretty excited about it. It reminds me of a vintage Channel print. It's my favorite, and I'm probably gonna wear it every single day, so don't be alarmed.

Reporting Live!

I just recently fell in love with a band that goes by the name of "The 911 Reporters". I took a trip to Huntsville, AL to see them. I had tons of fun, hung out with the band the whole time I was there! They're awesome, and I'm so happy to call them my new friends.

Shoot

So I just recently did a photoshoot with an awesome photographer from Memphis. I remade an old button down that I got from a local thrift, and it turned out pretty awesome. The shoot was set in Harbor town, which is like The Hamptons in Memphis. Can't wait to do another shoot!!

Memphis Beale Stree Music Festival

I attended The Beale Street Music Festival for the first time this year. It was absolutely amazing. Walking through this huge park with random people lying on the ground, beautiful vibes. Everyone singing along to Bohemian Rhapsody By Queen was the highlight of my evening that day, other than becoming a fan of Wiz Khalifa. I cant wait to see the line up of next years festival. Super amped.
